Sean Egan

Sean established contacts throughout the District government and the region to the benefit of the Department, including service as Chairman of the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments Health and Safety Subcommittee. As an executive leader and trusted advisor, he has had a front seat and management role in some of the most impactful events of the 21st century, including historic Presidential inaugurations, major sporting events, national crises, and large-scale infrastructure transformations. Following his retirement from the Department, Sean served as the Response and Recovery Coordination Specialist of the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority Office of Emergency Preparedness. He is currently working as a risk management and emergency preparedness consultant.
